DHAKA: US-Bangla Airlines, Bangladesh’s leading premium airline, started its fourth international destination, Kuala Lumpur, one of the most important cities of the Asia.

The flight for Kuala Lumpur will leave Dhaka at 8.00 pm (local time) on March 1 with Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will reach Kuala Lumpur at 2.00 am (local time), says a press release issued on Tuesday (February 28).

The flight will leave Kuala Lumpur at 3.00 am (local time) and will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5.00 am (local time).

The flights for Kuala Lumpur will be operated daily except for Friday and Saturday, the release added.

The minimum fare for Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flight has been fixed for BDT 20,499 and with return, BDT 27,999 inclusive of all taxes and surcharges. Fares have been fixed initially.

Meanwhile, as per plans, flights in Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka route will start on March 9.

With 164-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft the flights in Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur- Dhaka route will be operated. There are 8 business-class and 156 economy seats in the Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Besides, within a very short time, US-Bangla Airlines will be operating in Bangkok, Guangzhou, Doha.

Another 737-800 aircraft will be added to the fleet of US-Bangla Airlines shortly. Currently, US-Bangla Airlines owns five aircraft in its fleet out of which, two are Boeing 737-800 and three are Dash8- Q400. And within August 2017, the fourth Boeing 737-800 and DASH8-Q400 aircraft will be joining its fleet as well. 

In internationally, Flights are being operated to Muscat from Dhaka and Chittagong and to Kolkata from Dhaka daily with Boeing 737- 800 Aircraft. And three days a week, flights in Dhaka-Kathmandu route is being operated.

In domestically, it is operating six flights in Dhaka-Chittagong, three flights in Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar, three flights in Dhaka-Jessore, two flights in Dhaka-Saidpur and one flight in Dhaka-Sylhet route daily. And three flights in Dhaka-Barisal and Dhaka-Rajshahi routes are being operated weekly.

Just within two and a half years of its operation, US-Bangla Airlines has already operated over 22,000 flights successfully on domestic and international routes, which stands as a landmark in the aviation industry of Bangladesh.

Currently, more than 200 flights are being operated weekly by US-Bangla Airlines. US-Bangla Airlines is the only private airlines to provide services in every airport of Bangladesh.

Before Started Flight operation to Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Muhammed Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines Limited said, “Within two and half years of its operation, US-Bangla Airlines stands as the top private airline of the country.”

“Currently, in the domestic sector, US-Bangla Airlines carries over 50% of the total passengers. In recognition to this, US-Bangla Airlines achieved the title of Best Domestic Airlines 2015 and 2016 among all other air carriers in Bangladesh.”

He further said they were working hard to get the recognition as the best airlines in Asia. With 98.7% on-time performance till date, US-Bangla stands as the recognized premium airline of Bangladesh. 

As part of the future plans, there will be separated help desk for the wage earners where dedicated service will be provided including filling up forms and all other supports they required. 

The Airline also possesses sophisticated equipment for ground handling. It holds a record in delivering the luggage within 10 minutes after landing which is a milestone in the Bangladesh Aviation history.

For the business class passengers, US-Bangla is proving pick and drops from home to airport and airport to home.
