DHAKA: The Ruling Awami League pledged, in its election manifesto revealed on Tuesday (December 18), to create employment for 1.28 crore people in the next five years if they are voted to power.
Sheikh Hasina said, “I have devised a plan to create 1 crore 28 lakh jobs in next 5 years, if I could form administration after winning the election.”
“Employment will be created abroad for 1,000 male/female youths each year from every upazila,” Sheikh Hasina added.
She also said the youth is the driving force to materialize the ’Sonar Bangla’ (Golden Bangla) dream as well as to build digital Bangladesh. Her regime is committed to unify, organize, and utilize the youth community into productive force.
Sheikh Hasina also said the ‘National Service Program,’ which is aimed at creating employments, will be expanded gradually to all upazilas and youth training centers will be set up in all upazilas.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina revealed her 21-point manifesto for the 11th parliamentary election slated for December 30.
