DHAKA: Bangladesh progressed to the final of the SAFF U-15 women’s championship 2018 after beating Bhutan 5-0 in the semifinals at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimpu of Bhutan on Thursday (Aug 16).

Bangladesh will face India in the final slated for Saturday (Aug 18).

Anai Mogini, Ani Ching Mogini, Tahura Khatun, Maria Manda, Shaheda Akter of Bangladesh scored 5 goals against the host. 

India reached the final by beating Nepal 2-1 earlier in the same stadium on Thursday.

Earlier, Bangladesh team became group champion by defeating Nepal 3-0 and Pakistan 14-0.
