Bangladesh 279 for 4 (Tamim 130*, Shakib 97) beat West Indies 231 for 9 (Hetmyer 52, Mashrafe 4-37) by 48 runs

Bangladesh sealed the 48-run win over West Indies in the first ODI of the three-match series at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday (July 22).

Opener Tamim Iqbal scored 130 runs and Shakib Al Hasan scored 97. 

West Indies restricted the Tigers at 279/4. While chasing the target, they collected 231 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs.

Masrafe Bin Mortaza took 4 wickets by 37 runs and Mostafizur Rahman dismissed 2.
