Bangladesh national cricket team players will wear black badges in their next match of Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka, for showing respect to the victims of US-Bangla aircraft crash in Nepal.

Tiger captain Mahmudullah Riyad disclosed the matter to media Tuesday (March 13).

The national team players including Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mostafizur Rahman earlier expressed deep shock over the fatal plane crash, on separate Facebook posts.

They prayed for the departed souls and conveyed sympathy for the bereaved family members of the victims.

However, Bangladesh will face India Wednesday, in the triangular tournament.

Nearly 50 people were confirmed killed as an aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines crashed and burst into flames while landing at Kathmandu airport with 71 people on board, 67 being passengers.
