Bodi won’t be spared if proves guilty: Quader Obaidul Quader inspecting a road development work in Ashulia of Savar

ASHULIA (DHAKA): Road Transport & Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that Cox’s Bazar lawmaker Abdur Rahman Bodi or any other person related to drug trade won’t be spared if charges against them prove true.

“Not only Bodi, any drug trader irrespective of party, won’t be spared if accusations become true” Quader said citing the reference of MP Bodi’s brother-in-law’s death in a shootout among yaba traders.

The minister was talking to the reporters, while inspecting a road development work in Ashulia of Savar, on Saturday (May 26).

“The countrymen have amicably welcomed the law enforcement agencies’ ongoing drives against narcotics. Only the quarters having evil political intenstion are criticizing the crackdown,” he added.   

However, the minister cited example of anti-drug crackdown in various countries across the world, blowing out piles of criticism sparked form different sections against the ongoing crackdown countrywide.
