DHAKA: Four lawyers of jailed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia went to the old central jail to meet her Thursday (May 17).

Authorities of the prison at Nazimuddin Road in old town permitted the lawyers to enter inside at around 4:04pm.

The lawyers are —Advocate AJ Mohammad Ali, Advocate Khondaker Mahbub Hossain, Advocate Sanaullah and advocate Masud Ahmed Talukdar.

On February 8, a Dhaka special court sentenced Khaleda Zia to five years' rigorous imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case. She landed in jail on the same day.
