JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY: Jagannath University (JnU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal staged demonstrations demanding justice for the alleged killings of three of their party leaders recently.

As part of the demonstrations, they brought out a rally from in front of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court in Dhaka at around 10:00am Wednesday (March 14). JnU Chhatra Dal President Rafiqul Islam Rafiq led the rally. 

The rally encircled Ray Saheb Bazar and Bangshal thana areas and ended at Nayabazar area. Afterwards, they gathered there for awhile. 

They said that Chhatra Dal leaders Jakir Hossain Milon from Tejgaon thana unit of Dhaka, Sohel from Hathazari thana unit of Chittagong and Rashed from Barguna unit were killed separately in the attacks conducted by police and Chhatra League.  

Chhatra Dal central committee assistant-secretary for public relations MR Ghani Mostofa, JnU Chhatra Dal joint secretary generals Asaduzzman Aslam, Mizanur Rahman Sharif, Ibrahim Karim Mithu and organizing secretary Sadikur Rahman Sadik were among others present there.
