DHAKA: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said country will face massive destruction if conspiracy of the fascist government can not be stopped right now.

The senior BNP leader made the remarks while attending a human chain program organized by Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad in front of the National Press Club on Tuesday morning (February 20).

Fakhrul said the government has ruined country’s economy and future. So it is time to come forward together to free BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail and reclaim our rights. 

“The government is hatching conspiracy to prevent nationalist power from joining the next polls. Khaleda Zia is leading the movement against the conspiracy. That is why this fascist government locked her up in a fake case.”

Fakhrul claimed that government’s main plot is to prevent BNP and 20-party-alliance from participating in the polls.

He also urged countrymen to create resistance against this evil conspiracy and come forward with mass movement for the unconditional release of party chief and a free and fair election under supportive government.
