SATKHIRA: Police detained two members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team with 50 rounds of bullets in Satkhira.

Special Branch (SB) of the district police issued a press release regarding this Tuesday (February 20.

The detainees are identified as Jahangir Alom Bablu alias Akhter alias Saad, 40, and Ashraful Islam Dhali, 25.

On secret information, 50 rounds of bullets were seized from Ashraful’s house in the drive, said the release.

Moreover, some 45 men who were accused in different cases were also detained in the drives conducted in various places under eight thanas of the district, added the release.
