DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader warned that the opposition BNP will be met with a befitting reply if they try to ‘play with fire’ centering the forthcoming verdict of Zia orphanage Trust case against Khaleda Zia. 

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remark in a meeting at Dhaka Mahanagar Natya Mancha on Wednesday (January 31).

Referring to the attack on police and snatching of prisoners by BNP activists, the minister said BNP men launched a militancy-style attack on police and grabbed two accused from prison van. Police showed patience and we have to practice patience too.
