BNP can’t thwart next polls: Tofail

BHOLA: Awami League senior leader and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed has said that the BNP has no strength to thwart the next Parliamentary elections.  

Speaking at a function in Bhola on Friday (November 24), he said that the BNP has to come in the polls under the incumbent government. Otherwise, the party’s existence will fall in threat.

He was speaking at the function organized on the premises of Abdul Hannan Hawlader High School at Lalmohon upazila in the district.

Tofail Ahmed said that those who will engage in terrorism activities in the name of movement, they will be sent into jail. “We don’t believe in politics of vengeance. We work for the people,” he said.

Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon MP of Bhola-3 and Ali Azam Mukul MP of Bhola-2 also spoke at the function, among others.
