RANGPUR: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has alleged that a vested quarter is hatching conspiracy about the next general elections.

He said this while visiting the victims of attack at Thakurpara area in Rangpur on Sunday (November 19).

Obaidul Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said that the vested quarter thinks that they will be gainer through worsening the situations. They are living in fool’s paradise. None can foil thie next general elections, he said.

He also said that the miscreants, who had carried out attacks in various places of the country, will be brought into justice.

Awami League joint secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, central organizing secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, BM Mozammel Haque, Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Oikya Parishad general secretary Rana Dasgupta were also present there.
