DHAKA: A rally will be held in Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday (November 18) to celebrate the recognition of historic March 7 speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's as a world documentary heritage by UNESCO.

Nagorik Committee is organizing the rally where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend as the chief guest. 

Dhaka University Emeritus Professor Dr Anisuzzaman will preside over the grand rally at 2:30pm.

Earlier, UNESCO recognized the historic March 7 Speech of Bangabandhu as part of world's documentary heritage on October 31. 

However, Nagorik Committee has taken all preparations to make the rally a success.

Professor Rafiqul Islam, Shaheedjaya Shyamoli Nasin Chowdhury, Samakal editor Golam Sarwar and the UNESCO ambassador also chief to Bangladesh are scheduled to spoke the rally.
