No politics over November 18 rally: Quader Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader talking to journalists

DHAKA: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader urged not to do any ‘politics’ over the rally the party is set to hold in Suhrawardy Udyan on November 18.

He said: “It is not at all a political rally.”

Obaidul Quader, also, the Road Transport and Bridges Minister made the remark while addressing a gathering of journalists celebrating 'International recognition of Bangabandhu's 7th March Speech'.

The gathering was held at the conference lounge of National Press Club on Monday (November 13).
 
The Minister said, “This program is not meant for a competition against BNP’s rally of November 12. The speech of 7th March is a heritage of Bengalis, now it has become the heritage of the universe.” 

Moreover, Obaidul Quader requested journalists not to debate over the historic 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.  

BFUJ President Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul chaired the seminar, while advisor to the Prime Minister and Awami League President Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Former Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, were present among others in the program.
