DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed opined that Awami League's 11-point proposal that was submitted to the Election Commission (EC) during dialogue is an obstacle to a free and fair election.

The BNP leader made the remark while talking to reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday afternoon (October 18).

Barrister Moudud Ahmed alleged that, “Awami League is unaware of the power of people. That is why while placing the 11-point proposal during the dialogue today they said the lection will be held under AL government’s supervision.”

“Khaleda Zia has returned to Bangladesh today. Soon, she will give an outline on election-time supportive government. She is also respectful towards law and will appear before court on Thursday.”

BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Mirza Abbas, Dr. Moin Khan, Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, women's leader Afroza Abbas were also present at that time.
