DHAKA: The ruling political party Awami League (AL) with its 11-point specific proposals joined the dialogue with the Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday (October 18). 

A 21-member Awami League delegation, led by its General Secretary Obaidul Quader, started the dialogue with the EC at 11 am at the EC building.

The other AL members are-- Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Mohammad Nasim, Matia Chowdhury, HT Imam, Mashiur Rahman, Abdur Razzak, Faruk Khan, Ramesh Chandra Sen, Md. Rashidul Alam, Mahabub-ul-Alam Hanif, Dipu Moni, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Abdur Rahman, HN Ashiqur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Abdus Sobhan Golap and Riazul Kabir Kawsar.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda and other Election Commissioners and EC Secretary have participated in the dialogue.
