DHAKA: Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Annisul Huq, who was admitted to a hospital in London after falling ill seriously, is still now unchanged.

AKM Mizanur Rahman, a personal secretary of the mayor, on Thursday (August 17) told Banglanews that Annisul Huq is still now at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the London hospital. He is still unconscious.

The DNCC Mayor was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday (August 16).

He has been suffering from Cerebral vasculitis, swelling of the blood vessel wall involving the brain and occasionally the spinal cord.

He has also been facing some problems while doing physical movements including vertigo and feeling restless while controlling the balance of body over past two months.

However, the disease—Cerebral vasculitis-- was diagonsed in him in London.    

Annisul Huq went there to visit his newborn grandchild.
