Quader’s remark ‘out of civility’: Fakhrul

THAKURGAON: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader’s comment on BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s London tour was ‘out of civility’.

He made the assertion while speaking to reporters at his residence in Thakurgaon on Friday noon (July 21).

Despite BNP’s claim that the chairperson Khaleda Zia went to London for treatment, AL general secretary Quader said in a program, “Not for treatment but she left country in fear of lawsuit.”

Responding to AL’s claim that Khaleda will not return home, Fakhrul said it is out of the question that she would leave the country and such insinuation is just pure impudence because AL leader Sheikh Hasina have had also left the country during 1/11.
