Khaleda greets countrymen on Eid

DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has greeted the Muslim ummah, including the people of Bangladesh, on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

The BNP chief issued a massage in this regard on Saturday (June 24).

In the message, she wished happiness, peace and progress the countrymen and the Muslim ummah.

Khaleda Zia said that the Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the biggest festivals for Muslim community. On that day, the division among people gets removed and creates mutual interaction.

All Muslims will celebrate the day by forgetting little differences and erasing all kinds of violence, hatred and bitterness, the BNP chief hoped in the message.

She said, being a member of Muslim community they should help the poor, deprived and neglected people in society.

Khaleda Zia also prayed for the development and peace of all countries including Bangladesh.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed also greeted the countrymen in separate messages.
