CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY: Two leaders of Chittagong University (CU) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the ruling party, have been expelled over unrest on the CU campus on Thursday (April 20).

The expelled BCL leaders are—Mizanur Rahman Bipul, deputy office secretary of the CU unit, and Abdullah Al Kaiser, assistant secretary.

BCL’s central office secretary Delwar Hossain Shahjada confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

At least seven people, including five cops, were injured in the clash between police and the BCL men.
