DHAKA: Temperature of the country has been recorded 4-5° higher than normal due to intensity of the sun and absence of rain.

On Tuesday (September 18), Dhaka City sizzled at 36.2° Celsius while the highest temperature was recorded at 37.2° Celsius in Jessore, according to met office.

No rain was reported within 24 hours till 9 am on Tuesday. Temperature is likely to fall on Thursday. Dhaka city has felt no rain for the last 3 days.

30 years of average of temperature is considered as normal temperature. Now, country’s temperature is higher than normal, said met office.
