DHAKA: The government has promoted six of its officials to the rank of secretary.

The public administration ministry on Tuesday (Sep 18) issued a gazette notification in this regard.

Those who were promoted are- Acting Secretary of Water Resources Ministry Kabir Bin Anwar, Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Acting Secretary Md Mahibul Haque, Director General of National Academy of Planning and Development Md Kamal Uddin Talukder, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation Chairman Md Akram al-Hossain and Rector of BCS Administration Academy Md Mosharraf Hossain.
