TANGAIL: Bangabandhu Bridge authority stopped collecting toll due to pressure of long queue of vehicles.  

A 30-km tailback, formed between eastern side of the bridge and Kortia, is causing immense suffering to holidaymakers of Eid-ul Azha.

“Toll collection stopped from 4:30 pm, as there is huge traffic jam,” Tangail Traffic Inspector (TI) Ashraj Hossen told Banglanews on Tuesday (August 21).
