Saudi expat’s wife, daughter found dead at Bogra home The deceased

BOGRA: A mother and her six-year-old daughter were found dead at their residence in Borogola Tinpotti area of Bogra city Tuesday (August 21) morning.

Police recovered the bodies around 8:30am and sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsies.

The deceased are—Rubi Khatun, wife of expatriate in Saudi Arabia Yusuf Sheikh, and their daughter Sumaiya Khatun, 6.

On information, District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanatan Charabarty and Bogra Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Bodiuzzaman and a team led by ASP Akter Hossain visited the spot.

One to more killers might have been involved in the incident. Investigations are underway very closely, Sanatan Chakrabarty told Banglanews. 

PBI ASP Akter Hossain said the daughter was choked to death.

“Hit mark of scissor was found on left side of Ruby Khatun’s neck. Besides, blood marks were found in the bed,” he added.

However, locals said Ruby’s husband Yusuf has been living in Saudi Arabia’s over two years. The deceased lived in the common residence of Yusuf’s four brothers.
