MYMENSINGH: Two minor children drowned in a river in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh district on Sunday noon (August 20).

The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 6, son of one Abdus Sattar and Akash, 5, son of one Dulal. 

Local Union Parishad (UP) chairman Mejbahuddin Mandal told Banglanews that they fell down in water while playing on the river bank. Later locals recovered their floating bodies and taken to upazila health complex where duty doctor declared him dead.
