NAOGAON: A motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a truck in Balubazar College Intersection area of Manda upazila in Naogaon Sunday (August 19).

The deceased was identified as Jakirul Islam, 35, hailed from Tanore upazila of Rajshahi. 

Jakirul died on the spot as the truck hit him in the college intersection area while he was on way to Manda leaving Dhamoirhat upazila, in the morning, Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Investigation) Mahabub Alam told Banglanews.

The truck, however, couldn’t be seized.

The body was sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for an autopsy, added the OC.
