NOAKHALI: Two siblings were killed and four others injured as a truck rammed an auto-rickshaw in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali on Saturday noon (August 18).

The deceased were identified as Nazib, 10 and his sister Naziba, 3, children of one Wahidur Rahman Sumon of Saheberhat area of the upazila. Their mother, another brother, auto-rickshaw driver and a passenger were injured in the crash.  

Begumganj police station officer-in-charge (OC) Firoz Alam Molla said the accident took place around 2:30pm in front of Noakhali sub-station of Bangladesh Television. The injured were admitted to Noakhali General Hospital.
