CHITTAGONG: A dead body of a six-year-old child was recovered from Kolpolok residential area under city’s Bakalia Police Station on Friday (August 17).
The deceased was identified as Mariam, 06, daughter of Md Mafijur Rahman, hailed from Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
Nobel Chakma, Chittagong Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner (Chawkbazar Zone) told Banglanews that Mariam went missing on Thursday (August 16).
Police recovered her body early on Friday (August 17). The body was sent to morgue of Chittagong Metropolitan College Hospital (CMCH).
