CHUADANGA: A sexagenarian man was killed as a motorcycle hit him in Valaipur area of Chuadanga sadar upazila Thursday (August 16) night.

The deceased was identified as Nazir Hossain, 68, a resident of Hothatpara area of the upazila.

Witnesses said a motorcycle hit Nazir while he was en route to Valaipur Bazar, leaving him injured, at the night.

Locals rescued him and took to Chuadanga sadar hospital where the physician pronounced him dead.

Legal action will be taken if complaint is lodged over the incident, Chuadanga sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Delwar Hossain Khna told Banglanews.
