GAIBANDHA: At least 10 people were injured as a bus slammed into shops in Komorpur Bazar besides Rangpur-Dhaka Highway in Gobindaganj of Gaibandha Thursday (August 16) night.

Five shops were affected in the accident, said locals and police sources. 

The bus of Ena Paribahan entered into the shops as the driver lost control, they added. The injured includes the shop owners and passengers of the bus. 

On information, firefighters and police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured.

They were admitted to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex and Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Three of the injured are critically injured. The bus was recovered, Gobindaganj Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akhtaruzzman told Banglanews.
