DHAKA: Nothing was found after various activities and excavation drives in search of ‘hidden treasure’ at a house in city’s Mirpur-10 area.
A group of engineers of Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB) and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology started final examination of the site around 1:30 am on Thursday (August 16).
Tajwar Akram, executive magistrate of Dhaka District Court, led the concluding exploration.
Later Mirpur Model Police Station officer-in-charge Dadan Fakir told reporters that nothing worthwhile was found there and the excavation work has been announced completed.
Earlier, on Saturday (July 21), excavation began after a general diary (GD) was lodged by two persons claiming that “valuable objects” were hidden under the ground of the house.
