Missing NSU student found dead NSU student Md. Saidur Rahman Payel

MUNSHIGANJ: Police on Monday (July 23) recovered the body of a North South University student, who went missing on Saturday night, from Gozaria upazila of Munshiganj.

The deceased was identified as Md. Saidur Rahman Payel, 20, son of one Golam Mawla, hailed from Halishahar area under Sandwip police station in Chattogram district.

Payel was a second year BBA student of NSU and had been living in a residential area in Dhaka with friends.

Gozaria Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Harun Ur Rashid said his blood-stained and partly decomposed body was recovered beneath a bridge of the upazila in the morning. Initially it is being suspected that miscreants killed him and dumbed the body there. The matter is being investigated.
