DHAKA: Rushanara Ali MP, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Bangladesh, arrived in Dhaka on Saturday (July 21) night, on a five-day visit to strengthen trade ties among Bangladesh and UK.
Sources from the Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed the matter.
She will officially start the visit Sunday (July 22), said the sources.
In September 2017, Rushanara led a commerce team of UK rail companies, during a visit here.
Rushana was appointed UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Bangladesh in 2012.
