DHAKA: Two construction workers were killed in separate incidents in the capital on Friday (July 20).

The deceased were identified as Hafijul Islam, 20, of Mymensingh, and Sohel, 23.

Sohel fell through window of 3rd floor of a 10-storey building in Ashkona area of Airport. He was immediately taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), but doctors declared him dead, according to Sub Inspector Bacchu Miah of DMCH police camp.

Meanwhile, Hafijul Islam fell down from the 2nd floor of an under-construction building in Sipahibagh Titas road of Khilgaon. After being transported to DMCH, doctors declared him dead around 12 pm, SI Bacchu Miah said.

Two bodies were kept at DMCH morgue, the SI added.
