FENI: Two children drowned in a pond at Dubla Chand area under Parshuram municipality of Feni on Monday (July 16).

The deceased were identified as Samia Sultana, 7, daughter of Korban Miah, hailed from Dubla Chand area, and Rabeya Akther Rahi, 7, daughter of Ibrahim, of the same area.

The kids were students of Baur Khuma Government Primary School.

Family members of the victims pulled the bodies out of the pond as a child had informed them about drowning, said Abul Kasem Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Parshuram Police Station.
