DHAKA: The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal 3 as the depression formed over north-west Bay of Bengal.

Met office warned that strong wind is likely to blow over ports and coastal areas as the sea is volatile. 

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come closer to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
