KISHOREGANJ:  Police recovered three bodies of siblings from a ditch of North Ashtoka village under Gundhor union in Karimganj upazila on Sunday (June 24).

The deceased were identified as Junaki, 9, Chandni, 7 and son Safayet Ullah, 4,   children of Helal Uddin of Bhatiya Gangpara village of Dehunda union under Karimganj upazila.

3 siblings along with their mother went to their aunt’s house at North Ashtoka village two days ago.

On Saturday noon (June 23), they went missing while playing sport in the neighborhood. After an exhausted search, bodies were discovered from the ditch on Sunday morning.

An unnatural death case was filed over the incident, Md Mujibur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Karimganj Police Station told Banglanews.
