NARSINGDI: A 45-year-old man committed suicide after allegedly killing his son and daughter following a dispute with wife over money, in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi. 

Police recovered the bodies from besides a graveyard in Tulatuli village under the upazila, around 8:30am Friday (June 22).

The deceased were identified as Kajal Mia and his son and daughter—Abdullah and Sharmin Akter Kakoli.

Kajal’s wife Fahima Khanom told Banglanews that she engaged in a scuffle with her husband over Tk35,000 Thursday night (June 21). Afterwards, Kajal left the home accompanied by the two children. They didn’t return home at the night.

In the morning, the family was informed that Kajal was found hanging from a tree and the two children were seen lying dead on the ground.

On information, police recovered the bodies, added Fahima.
