NATORE: A district court on Thursday (June 21) sentenced two persons to death over killing a woman in Singra upazila of Natore.

Natore District & Sessions Judge Md Rezaul Karim announced the verdict, around 12pm.

The convicts are—Shahmim Hossain, 32, husband of the deceased and a resident of Phulbari upazila of Kurigram and his friend Ramizul Alam, 30, from the same upazila. 

The deceased, Rezina Parvin Rupali, was hailed from Dhumerkuti village under Lalmonithat sadar upazila. 

Natore Judge Court Public Prosecutor (PP) Sirajul Islam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
