NARSINGDI: Two people were killed and at least fifteen injured as a trolley, carrying football players, overturned in Roypura upazila of Narsingdi on Wednesday morning (June 20).

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Confirming the matter, Roypura Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Rafiul Islam said the accident happened around 8:30 am at Khakchak area as the trolley driver lost control over steering and overturned with a team of 25-30 local football players on board. The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
