NARSINGDI: A man and two of his minor daughters were crushed under the wheels of a train in Badhuarchar area of Narsingdi sadar upazila on Monday evening (June 18).

The deceased were identified as Hafiz, 40 and his two daughters Tarin, 14 and Srabanti, 2.

Narsingdi sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Sayeduzzaman told Banglanews that Hafiz, along with her daughters, were visiting Baduarchar bridge on occasion of Eid. At one point, a Kishoreganj Express train hit them while they were taking selfies with a cell phone camera standing on the rail line. 

On information, police recovered the bodies to Narsingdi sadar hospital. The bodies will be handed over to family members after performing autopsy. Deceased Hafiz’s uncle filed a case with Bhairab railway police station, the OC added.
