MOULVIBAZAR: Relief and Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said as there is no shortage of relief materials, the distribution will continue till sufferings of the flood victims come to an end.

The minister made the remarks to reporters after a meeting on district disaster management at Moulvibazar circuit house on Monday noon (June 18).

He said relief is being distributed in flood affected areas and more in stock. Some 600 tonnes of rice and Tk 10 lakh is reserved for flood victims. We will make sure that no one spends a day without food. 

He also said the government will help rebuilding the houses that were destroyed in flood. Enough money and materials will be given for rehabilitation. The government will continue to assist till the victims get rid of the woes.

The minister also distributed relief materials among flood victims in Borhat area of Moulvibazar municipality.
