Aziz Ahmed made new army chief

DHAKA: Former Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Lieutenant General Aziz Ahmed has been appointed as the next chief of Bangladesh Army.

The Defence Ministry issued a notice Monday (June 18) stating that the Aziz Ahmed will take charge as Army chief from June 25.
