NOAKHALI: Three people were killed and two others injured as an auto-rickshaw and passenger bus collided on Noakhali-Comilla highway in Chashirhat bazaar area of Noakhali on Sunday noon (June 17).

The identities of the deceased could not be known till filling the report. 

However, angry mob has vandalized vehicles and blocked the highway following the accident. 

Sonaimuri police station officer-in-charge (OC) Nasimuddin told Banglanews that, on information, police rushed to the scene to deescalate the situation.
