RANGPUR: Three motorcyclists were crushed by a bus in Kaunia upazila of Rangpur early Thursday (June 14).

The deceased are—Abul Kalam, 16, Sakku Mia, 18, and Soleman Ali.

The accident happened at Holdibari rail gate area around 8:30am, Kaunia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mamun Or-Rashid told Banglanews.

A speedy bus rammed the motorcycle the trio were riding, leaving two dead on the spot and another injured. He also succumbed to injuries while was being taken to a hospital, added the OC.    

The bodies were taken to the police custody, he said further.
