KHULNA: Fifty seven members including chiefs of six forest robber gangs in Sundarbans surrendered along with their arms and ammunition at Khulna RAB Headquarters.

The members of Rajan alias Dada bhai Bahini, Amirul Bahini, Hannan Bahini, Surjo Bahini, Choto Shamsu and Munna Bahini surrendered to the Home Minister in the afternoon.

The gang members deposited 58 firearms and 284 rounds of bullets.

The forest robbers are being provided with proper assistance for their rehabilitation.
