SIRAJGANJ: Two passengers were killed and 10 others injured as a bus fell into a roadside ditch on the western side highway linked to Bangabandhu Bridge in Sirajganj on Friday afternoon (April 27).

The deceased were identified as Tabizul, 55 and Raza, 45. The injured passengers were admitted to Sirajganj sadar hospital.

Bangabandhu Bridge west police station officer-in-charge (OC) Syed Shaheed Alam told Banglanews that the accident took place around 2:45pm as the driver of a Khalek Enterprise bus lost control over steering and fell into ditch. 

On information, police and Fire Service rushed to the scene. The injured were taken to hospital and bodies were sent to sadar hospital morgue, he added.
