DHAKA: Bdjobs.com’s Founder and CEO AKM Fahim Mashroor was released hours after he was picked up by law enforcers in a case filed against him under ICT act.
Confirming the matter to Banglanews, DMP additional deputy-commissioner (ADC) Obaidur Rahman said Fahim was released in the afternoon after initial questioning.
He said Fahim was initially questioned for the allegations. Moreover, some facebook IDs are being checked for spreading anti-government contents.
Earner in the day, members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit detained him for posting a satirical cartoon of PM Sheikh Hasina in facebook and other anti-government activities.
Cyber Crime Division Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nazmul Islam then said former DU BCL leader Al Sadik filed a case against Fahim under ICT act.
