BAGERHAT: A suspected forest robber was killed allegedly in a gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Aambaria area under Swarankhola range of Sundarbans on Tuesday morning (April 24).

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoiting RAB, Swarankhola Police Station officer-in-charge Kabirul Islam said three firearms and several rounds of bullets were also recovered from the spot.
